Anyone here make chili

i mean a big huge pot. Do i use an equal amount of kidney and chili beans or do
i use a 2nd can of kidney or chili beans with it. Can't remember my mom's recipe but i thought it had a 2nd can of one of them
chili powder, tomato sauce, paprika, 1 can of tomatoes, one can of diced tomatoes
1 pound of ground beef and 1 can of chili and kidney beans so far
