Thanks for the feedback. I love the city too. Spent a lot of time there in the mid 90s with my college boys who were from there, then as and since as an adult working different situations. My opinion of the place has changed & I truely belive that the people have changed. Regardless, I'll give the show another shot

The show is very underrated. Good music, good laughs, hot chicks, and it's about characters that are better than the average person. Shows like the Wire I enjoy as well but they are quite depressing. The O.C. is aspirational and I enjoy escaping to something like that instead of the dirty ignorant and wallowing reality portrayed elsewhere that mimics the dregs of everyday society.

Wow, can't believe I forgot about Oz. That makes my top 10 easily.
I would also add Spartacus: Blood And Sand to my "Worth watching" list. Oh, and the first three seasons of Batman: The Animated Series.

How I met your mother is another solid show in that Monday night lineup. But it doesn't get the replay that 2 and a half men gets.

VERY GOOD MUSIC. Rachel Bilson used to be the hottest thing to me. Seth Cohen always cracked me up because he was the dumbass nerdy funny kid. And I enjoyed seein Ryan get into scuffles. And I'd like to bang that whore sister who came and threw a party at the Cohens house, and the neighbor ended up dating.

Never heard of any of these myself, except eastbound & down.. Nicky, if you're a comedy nut, you have got to check this one out.. Only 1 season so far.. Season 2 starts next month.. Its about a "has-been MLB star".. A lot of profanity, but a lot more hillarious parts.. Nicky, give it a chance, you will not be disappointed!!

One of the worst shows on television. I can't believe people watch that garbage. It's almost as bad as According To Jim. If you want to watch a hilarious laugh track comedy you should check out Gary Unmarried.

Yeah, okay. Keep thinking that a show with a ridiculous mobster storyline with plot holes everywhere is the best show. It helps people tell who thinks they know what good television is from people who actually do (The Wire, The Shield, Oz).

We are approaching page three of this thread and a number a solid shows have been listed. But, seriously, how can no Joss Whedon series be named in anyone's lists? Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a phenomenal series. And Firefly died on the vine way too young. I would have loved to see where that story would have gone.
