There's no stopping COVID, there's no vaccine coming anytime soon. The vast majority of human race is asymptomatic of this.
The plethora of positive tests seems frightening, but all that matters is if there is hospital space. Areas in TX and AZ seem to be out of space, from what I can tell Florida is in pretty good shape for space.
From there it's a basically a risk factoring game much like an insurance scheme. How much economy can a state open at what risk to life for how much profit.
NBA, MLS, DISNEY, RNC and most all Counties in Florida (and SD, WI) say let it rip, we want the jobs and money.
Meanwhile, States like MN, IL will be asking for a federal bailout and I'm not sure they'll get it...which brings up the question posed by McConnell earlier- let the States file bankruptcy if they want to stay closed.
