Good stuff, slew. Just my opinion:
1) I really liked the Eagles. But there are some acts I'd take over them.
2) I've listened to the Eagles discography. I view them as a Singles act. I didn't necessarily enjoy all the songs deep on their albums.
3) Notorious for the disagreements within the band. But that's true for EVERY band. In case of the Eagles, the different personalities fueled the band.

Nashy, here's what I read:
The "bubbleheaded bleach blonde" mentioned in the song was rumored to have been Christine Lundstedt (Christine Lund) of KABC-TV in Los Angeles, but Henley has categorically denied this.

And Don supposedly said "comes on at 5" for the lyrics. Sounded better, but she actually "came on at 6."

For pure LYRICS...it's hard to beat DIRTY LAUNDRY.
