im a forklift driver/ loader at Pepsi, easy job work 10-11 hours days every night. Much better pay overall than previous job. Hours suck but i cant complain while im still in school.

They do but there 401k sucks. they match .50 per dollar up to 4%. From what i hear thats decent but my father is a teamster so anything less than what he gets seems horrible to me.

What would you recommend i want to start putting like 10% a month towards some type of IRA or pension plan

ore like 20% be aggressive and get that max dollar for dollar match then when you leave roll it over into a Roth IRA.Some people prefer more liquid assets I manage my own portfolio that returns about $64,000 in compounding dividend growth per year .

Not 21 until November and even if i was im on a 6 month probation at the new job so cudnt take any extended leave to go up there. I will be in Vegas for New years though.
