go to guest service with the $50 gift card purchase 5-$10 dollar gift cards. Then immediately ask to cash them out. People do it all the time. Especially after weddings people will go in there with $600 in cards n do that.

Interesting, is this a Target only thing? I've never heard of stores doing this...

Its a State law at least in California that if a gift card hold a value of $10 or less it can legally be cashed out for the remaining value.

Yeah, that must be a California law because I've had several gift cards with balances of like 18 cents, and the only thing you can do with it is put it towards another purchase. Being able to cash them out is a nice perk!

9 times out of 10 what happens is that you end up spending more than what the gift card is worth and spend your own money to cover the difference.

same i dislike there tactics as far as selling goes.

For instance i sold 27,000 worth of stock and had 6,000 in cash available. I takes 3 business days for the sell to clear in your account after its sold.

The system allows you to then buy in up 33,000 in stocks but if you do your account will go into restriction because it thinks your trying to overdraft your account or some shit. Do all programs work like that?

Sounds like you dont have a margin account with them.
