Both will get a 1 seed, win or lose. The winner will most likely be the overall top 1 seed. The SEC dominated OOC so much that the SEC tourney won’t mean much to their seedlings. A lot of their teams are getting in regardless. I’ve never seen this dominance not even in SEC football.

i watched a lot of those OOC games and the SEC teams looked different from the other conferences. They were much bigger, faster and stronger. The difference was glaring. I think the conference loaded up on grown ass men. A lot of grad students, married with children 6, 7 year players.

Saw the L7 Alab games. Each one is versus a ranked opponent.

That is all well and good but still those are regular season stats.
I will enjoy the inflated lines come March on SEC teams. Until they show me something it is easy to stack cash fading that conference during the tournament.

I live and breathe cbb. I am not talking about blindly fading SEC teams. I am saying there will be good opportunities on heavily inflated lines on these teams especially in early rounds because of the hype. Do they have some solid teams? Ya, but there is no team I can point to and say they are going to win. There is no team head and shoulders above the rest imo. I think Florida is the best team in that conference to be honest. At the end of the day yes SEC has the deepest conference this season by a pretty wide margin but many of these teams won't make it to the 2nd weekend. If I am wrong you can come in this thread and tell me about it but I am not drinking the koolaid. I listened to it all last season with SEC this and that. Then after 1st round I didn't see many left and I don't necessarily see much of a difference from last year to this year.

In all the years of data on KenPom.com only one team has ever won that was outside of the top 5. That team, UCONN. I love the Final Four pick. Also love them against the spread. Let us be reminded: Connecticut not only won the last two titles. They covered 12 straight spreads in the process.
