    Sending $ via PP question.
I won $200 in SBR contest and had funds sent to my sister’s PP account that she just recently created. I did this because 1-2 years ago PP closed my account because I traded too many times at Bovada using PP.

But funny thing is a few weeks ago I’m cleaning my yahoo email account (new year’s resolution) that I hardly use but still keep it more or less for nostalgia. Anyway, saw an old PP email and it dawned on me I had a very old account with them using this email. So I logged in and acct is still good. Had my very old phone number and address on file. So I then used this PP acct to receive winnings on the next two contest that I won that totaled about $300.

Now going back to my sister’s acct, the $200 has just been sitting there for 1-2 months and I figure I can just have her send the funds to my old PP acct. When she tries to do it, it’s asking for her to link a credit/debit card, but she’s just sending the $200 in her PP acct and not sending any money from any of her cards. She doesn’t like registering her info online and wants to keep it to bare minimum, if possible. So I’m wondering whether she has to link a card to PP simply to send funds already in her PP acct? Is this a requirement and no matter what she has to link a card in order for her to send funds already in her PP acct to me?

Don’t want to ask PP as eventually they will find out I have another acct and will close this one but trying to stay under the radar as long as possible.

I don't know for sure but assume it's for KYC ID purposes only.

She might be able to buy something with it without ID.

Have her order you some superbowl snacks?

lol… she’s doing sending by “family and friends.” I’ll let know her it’s KYC and register a card, but after sending she delete the card and close her PP acct.

        Thanks!

Both PayPal & Venmo asking for lots of information lately. I think Optional is correct here. On my end- within the last 30 days both Venmo/Paypal asking me for information and I barely even use the services.

I think if she adds the card, sends and then deletes it all you both should be fine.
