he also had been a couple years in a decent +Ev contest nfl offshore book and this year was not in it that made me really really really wonder if he is ok. that was not one with his approach and style of grinding and +EV he would ever miss.

Well he ignored the scumbags who set him up, lied about it, and then harassed him over made up debt claims for a long time. So I doubt that's it.

He was active on covers the last say 10 years never misses to post picks daily.

Nothing in the last year completely disappeared

I liked Yisman and respect you Optional but you are wrong on this one. Yisman owes me like $700 from many years back and had larger negative figures with many others before he ghosted us all.

Maybe things were said by third parties who had no involvement but I can't see how that can be a justification to stiff others who never said a word about any of it.

You can't swing a cat without hitting someone with degenerate tendencies in the gambling world and many (most?) things that worked a decade or two ago (on both sides of the counter...) no longer do so maybe he hung on to stuff like that too long and let it get out of hand? I don't know.

The regulated market is nice but if you have a pulse and are in the United States you have to get somewhat creative outside that box if you want action beyond Circa and conversely, as anyone has been doing this for any length of time knows, you probably going to get stiffed at least a couple times. After awhile you just accept it, write it off, and move on.

IMO the one thing Yisman did that was really shitty was after he ghosted his debts he quit the forums yet he continued to contest whore.

I've also had have demons (inside and outside of gambling) and, after years of misdiagnoses and cocktails of the wrong drugs, a couple years back I finally got real help (i.e. on the right meds...) and have been stable for a couple years. Maybe Yisman just got into GA, found God, or some other shit and doesn't need whatever relief continuing to flea contests provided him?

It was how it all started that was the problem. Fishead and KR should pay people off. They deserve as much scorn as Yisman.

I don't know if he then used that to skip unrelated debts or not later.

But the avalanche of unfair attacks he took might have had some part in what eventuated. I have no sympathy for anyone involved.

I have nothing against you but I think you're wrong on this one. Much more typical case of stiff using the "someone was mean to me defense to justify their stiffing".
