Unfortunately its gonna get worse before it gets better. It might be too late to ever fix these liberal run cities. Its not like the 70's where there was a resemblance of sanity with many mayors and governors. They never kow-towed to the radical morons who put criminals ahead of their own lawful citizens. People who advocate for sanctuary cities are enemies of the US.

Drastic measures will have to be taken in order to fix these cities but politicians (mostly democrats) will never allow it. They will only take drastic measures when their house (the Capitol) is attacked. Then they will use the full power of the justice department and the FBI to round up anyone they feel like and lock them up in solitary without charges for month and years. They will build walls around themselves in order to protect themselves, even though they will tell you walls don't work. The peasants will have to just put up with the crime and violence because fixing it would mean courage. They have none.

I have a job offer to move to Massachusetts in a few months. I would have jumped at it a few short years ago, but I am not sure I wanna live in the US as it is now.
