In a video making the rounds online over the weekend, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson is holding a press conference and talking about the arrest of a habitual criminal with a history of breaking into homes and advised, “If someone is breaking into your house, you’re more than welcome to shoot. We prefer you to do that, actually.”

The press conference is actually from April 2022, but it strikes a nerve given the unsettling news about people losing their homes to squatters. Of course, there’s a major difference between shooting someone as they are in the act of breaking into your residence and discovering after the fact that someone has taken up residence in one of your properties.

“We don’t know what homeowner shot at him. I guess they think they did something wrong, which they did not,” Johnson told reporters.

“Whoever that was, you’re not in trouble,” he added. “Come see us.

They'd rather not go after the criminals and vandals, but punish innocent victims with arbitrary housing codes and fines. They are only in favor of selective enforcement of the law to support their narrative and further the woke agenda.

The light-colored states have a lower homicide rate than NYC (5.2 deaths per 100,000). There’s 18 of those states. But most states have higher homicide rates than NYC. Some are a lot higher, even triple NYC in a few states (colored purple). Alabama’s homicide rate of 13.9 deaths per 100,000 people is about 2.5 times as high as New York City.

Unarmed 15-year-old girl shot and killed while doing exactly what she was told to do by the cops. Killing the dad was the right thing TO DO. Killing this teen age girl was/is horrifying I hope someone is held accountable for this awful death.

I don't get it sometimes. Cops, with all their training do some stupid crazy azz stuff. Seems like insanity sometimes.

Yet, we do need the police. The good ones only.
Wish we could weed out all the bad one's before they put on a badge and carry a gun. Better screening maybe.
For every bad one, there are probably 500 good ones. We can't lump them all into one pile.

Bumper bowling is one of the best takedown methods. No wild shots being fired by LEO's and armed, fleeing suspects are quickly neutralized. Plus, the videos are usually worth watching more than once.
