I hear what you are saying.

What the U.S. Bureau is now saying is that the tariff pushback will be felt at the end of the fiscal year, on June 30.

That's why I keep saying, "Wait until midterm voting, everything else is speculation."

Trump's a lot of things, stupid isn't one of them; he's vindictive, he's hateful, he's delusional, but stupid, he's not.

He knows the economy, or ("affordability," Which Trump said yesterday is a fake word made up by the liberals) will make or break this 'administration.'

We'll see, right now he's reaching, he's grasping at straws, he knows.
He's trying to ram a 10% interest cap on all credit card bills through.
That got pushback from every major credit card company and every leading economist.
    Some laughed at that idea.

He's trying anything to get people to crack open their wallets.

When your frame of reference leads you to defeat at every turn, shouldn't you lose that frame of reference? The radical lefties will complain about $1 gas only because it happened under Trump.

Don't forget these are mostly the same people who marched, looted, burned, killed and injured thousands on behalf of George Floyd.

So almost 12 months for tariffs to wreak havoc on the economy . That’s when companies decide we’ve had enough , it’s time to pass costs on to the consumer . Gotcha

On affordability , his statement was …

Inflation was higher under Democrat rule therefore claiming the criticism against his administration on affordability is a "Democrat hoax”.

As an independent you sure do get your news from anywhere but center right outlets . Or at least from what you post it seems that way .

We had no inflation from tariffs in his first term , it’s lower now than it was in Jan , 2025 but the magic month for the sh*t to hit the fan is June of this year .

Posted by the White House, Department of Labor and amplified with white nationalist imagery by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer.”
(One people. One nation. One heritage.)

Not a mistake. It wasn’t careless phrasing. It was a deliberate invocation.

So so far from the America we all grew up respecting as the world's foremost 'land of the free' democracy.

            Do you still recognise it?
Very few around the world do any more.

If you're a R who voted MAGA or a D who didn't vote because you didn't want a female president YOU are to blame.

              a) Paraphrasing, look into the definition.

              b) I get my facts from 100 percent credible sources.
              100 percent, not 99 percent.

I get my inflation facts straight from the US Bureau of Statistics, and it doesn't get more credible than that.
I get my baseball stats straight from baseball-reference.com. or MLB.com, or other ancillary sources that are 100 percent accurate, such as fangraphs or baseball prospectus...

Listen, pal, I'm an IT analyst by trade, and I'm good at it, or at least that's what my bosses tell me.
I'm (and my partner) are responsible for all data center activities between midnight and eight am.
And trust me, a lot of shit goes on between those hours. If any program, or anything that shits the bed, as an analyst, I need to collect all the pertinent data, form a conclusion as to what happened with all those facts, then wake up the empty suits that really don't have a clue in the first place and relay to them what happened, why it happened, what needs to be done to corrected this, who's correcteing this, and what's the ETA yadda, yadda, yadda.

The point being that I have a really nerdy job, but I like it, you can't cherry-pick facts, you can't leave out little parts you don't like, I can't present an analysis to my bosses as to why something failed with biased facts, I'd be shit-canned in a nano-second.
So don't come at my integrity, I form my conclusions/analysis based on credible sources.

I've been writing up baseball here for fifteen years, and the data I've always used in my write-ups aren't biased because I like a particular player; the data I use is stone-cold facts from 100 percent credible sources, there's a reason why my credibility is rarely challenged here, I'm accused of a lot of things, goofy, long winded, all sorts of things, and guilty as charged, but come at my credibility, than you're going to have a problem. And before you tell me to stop pontificating, or get off my high horse, I don't believe my shit doesn't stink, trust me, my shit stinks. When I have that occasional brain fart, and I have them, it's bad.

As far as news viewing goes, I give the left-leaning outlets, such as CNN, and the right-leaning outlets, such as FOX, equal time, about 30 minutes a day. The way they slant the news is bipolar, would be the way to describe it. The truth always lies in the middle.
I trust the BBC before any of them, but that's just me.

Not for nothing, and it really shouldn't matter what I think, but I think most of you who post in this particular discussion topic are OK.
I don't think any of you are evil, and do have redeeming qualities and all that other bullshit, as a poster here, and as a posting moderator, NOTHING pisses me off more than somebody trying to pass off their opinion as an undisputable fact with nothing to back it up. An opinion is not a fact; a fact is a fact. Opinions are like assholes, we all have one.

              Carry on fellas.
