Portland Trantifa Julie Mikela Winters, real name Christopher Hudson, has now been federally charged with felony attempted assault of a federal officer. He is accused of trying to light an incendiary device next to the Portland ICE facility on June 24 and then threatening responding officers with a machete at an Antifa riot. Winters then allegedly threw the blade at the face of an officer, but he dodged.

Winters is the first suspect arrested at the Portland Antifa riots to not be immediately released without bail. He is in federal custody pending future court hearings.

Of course, the ratings were going to be off the charts the first week back.
The spike (bounce) was inevitable because people don't watch the show, but tuned in out of curiosity.
Once the curiosity factor goes, so do the ratings.

The late show talk genre died when Leno and Letterman retired.
People like me, who keep strange hours and are wide awake at that time, tune into something else or stream.

The only one out of the three of them that I like is Fallon.
Kimmel, as good a stand-up comedian as he is, is a terrible late-night host. (IMO)
Colbert's smugness alone makes me cringe; he's unwatchable.
