Equity and equality are two totally different things. Do you know the difference? Did you not understand? I explained it.

What do you mean who determines merit? What kind of question is that? Merit is a reward for doing well at something. Does there have to a White person running in the 100 meters or should it be the best 10 athletes?

If only 20 people apply for a job, let's say government job for argument sake, all are qualified, there are 20 position that need to be filed immediately, 14 White women and 6 White men happen to come in. Can you hire all 20 right away or do you have to discriminate against 2 of the While people and wait until 2 Blacks apply? Maybe tell 3 of them " hey sorry, although we need all of you to start immediately, we can't. Because if we do, it won't accurately represent society and we must wait until 2 Blacks and at least 1 Asian apply and we must hire them". How do you not see the blatant discrimination? What if 15 Blacks applied? OMG what a nightmare having to tell 13 of them to go home because we can't hire that many Blacks because it doesn't accurately represent society. LOL.

DEI and affirmative action as the exact definition of racism. The Supreme Court agrees with me.

I will leave you with this. When the Pilgrims landed 400 years ago, they divided the land equally. They planted seeds, grew crops, raised chickens etc. Some worked harder than others and because of their hard work, they had enough food to last throughout winter. Others were lazy and didn't have enough food. Those with extra food shared their excess with those who were needy. They even helped them in the spring so they would have enough for themselves for the following winter. Others took advantage of their kindness. Why work if we can get it for free from those that have plenty. So they begged but eventually they either starved to death or started to work their land. Some ended up stealing. You get my point. That's equality and equity.
I own a couple of companies. I employ who I want. I also help companies hire people. Some are private, others get government funding. The ones that work with government cannot discriminate based on several factors. But private companies do it all the time. They can hire who they want, when they want and can be biased against anyone. If you owned a bakery, you could hire whoever you want to bake your cookies. But I would advise you as I do companies that diverse companies perform better. I can show you statistics. Why wouldn’t you hire someone that can speak Spanish in your bakery, especially if you have a lot of Spanish speaking customers. If you had a lot of Italian, French, whatever speaking, doesn’t it make sense to cater to your clientele? but it is your call, not mine, nor the government.

Government hiring has always been merit based - hiring managers have not been allowed to consider factors related to any protected class such as gender, race, disability, or religion in hiring outside of a very few exceptions. Some examples are Veterans Preference, Vet Spousal Preference, Schedule A, and agency specific preferences (for example the Bureau of Indian Affairs is required to give priority to Native Americans for certain positions). Unqualified minorities are not being hired into positions they don’t deserve. That is a myth. In areas where there is underrepresented classes, say not enough men or women, there are volunteer opportunities to encourage men or women or ethnic group to apply.

sounds like he was indoctrinated by radical Lefties. And he was a radical Transfia loser and pro trans.

Isn't it about time the Feds designate Antifa as a terrorist organization? It should have been done years ago. The FBI should round them all up and fly them to Gitmo.
So now you’re blaming education? Are schools teaching how to become sharpshooters? WTF? It’s people far left and right radicalized by social media. These idiots believe everything they read and have warped their understanding. they lack education. School teaches you tolerance. It teaches you about other people. You learn to love your neighbor in school. You learn history and why we all are very much the same. Educated people don’t do this. It’s usually uneducated young white boys that are easily influenced.

The Karen’s you hate aren’t out there shooting innocent people.

This is not how people are hired in our government. Please learn our process first and stop making a fool out of yourself. I can’t even have a conversation with you on government hiring because you are so backwards in what the fuk goes on here.

Lied, cheated, stole, murdered even little children. Pilgrims, Forced the displacement of millions of people and was responsible for the genocide of an entire nation. Shooting people with a gun has been Normalized in this country. It is pretty normal for a young white boy to go shoot up a school. Of course these boys are mentally ill but they are just regular kids that have been driven by, hate, fear and radical ideas. Violence is normal in this country. Kirk was yesterday. An hour later, 3 more people were shot, murdered in a school in Denver. Do you even know who they were? Nobody really cares because it is normal. We all say we care that Kirk was killed but it’s a big, fat lie. We won’t do shit to stop this from happening again and again. It’s easy to blame, left or right but this is Americas gun problem. We use guns when we disagree, when we are mad, or we just don’t like someone and the society is just fine with it.

Trump confused Armenia with Albania during a Friday interview on Fox News. “I ended wars that were thought to be unsolvable. Azerbaijan and Albania. It went on for many, many years,”

Joe Biden said Hamas when he meant Hezbollah and it was proof that he was a cognitively declined vegetable.

Trump does something like this basically every day to complete silence.

Eat it he/him . It’s like shooting fish in a barrel around here.

The FBI strategically DELAYED their press conference last night for several hours in order to “smoke out” Charlie Kirk’s kiIIer, following critical witness interviews, per FBI source

FBI intercepted the suspect’s cell phone pings and established a trail prior the press conference which caused the suspect’s father to turn in his son shortly thereafter.

Robinson was taken into custody 250 miles away from where he kiIIed Kirk.

This was a HUGELY successful operation by the FBI and Utah authorities, taking the assailant into custody within just 33 hours.

A mere FRACTION of the time it took previous FBIs to track down the Boston Bomber and Luigi Mangione. Great work. Justice for Charlie is coming.

They say the father who turned him in is a registered Republican which makes sense since Utah votes 80% republican in elections. The odds of the shooter being brought up by radical left is absurd. But it helps Dwight and guitarjosh sleep better if he can post wrong pictures of the shooter and posts he sees online by others lying to him or make his own conclusions before we know anything about the shooter or his background. Like let the truth come out before you start making your own conclusions.

Dwight thinks the radical left is more violent, which is ridiculous. I don’t care if they’re left or right. They are radical young, easily influenced boys with easy access to guns. How the hell do we fix the madness?

Did first person shooter video games really fukked up our youth? These young boys are the terrorist among us. I’m not worried about Al Quadra, or some Islamic fundamentalist. It’s the young white boys that are acolytes in church, in HS band, that are going off the rails.

Why would ANYONE want these kids to have access to guns. Ban guns to guys under 30. We can’t trust you.

Talking about DEI…. Here’s what someone local said.

the Doge folks actually used keyword searches—including DEI—in selecting employees to cull. It’s anecdotal, but there is at least a demonstrated correlation between workers who attended DEI trainings and workers who were summarily fired. I heard a couple of sacked-employee interviews, and they were pretty upset bc they had some reason to believe they were singled out bc they had attended a DEI training—a training that was MANDATORY under Trump’s first administration. Incidentally, they were also both Black.

So, have those folks used employee information to specifically tweeze out ppl based on personal characteristics instead of relevant factors, like seniority, performance and role? Hard to say yet. If I knew a bookie and I could actually place a bet on this, would I. Absolutely.

Also, in case anyone missed it, there are 8 Joint Chiefs in DOD. One white woman, one Black man, and 6 white men. Two of them were unexpectedly and inexplicably fired, given their reputations, many accomplishments, service records and commendations. Guess which two?

I suspect that when it starts to shake out, we’ll see some reporting on a noticeable pattern in firings that isn’t going to be particularly easy to explain away. I mean if the workforce were drop from e.g. 22% minority to 8%, or 40% women to 25% women, that’s gonna be a tough case to defend. ⚖️

Also, even those Doge folks who are allegedly “brilliant,” made some comically awful mistakes, so there’s the possibility they were too dumb to effectively cover their digital tracks.

                                    a) Yes, extreme radicalism knows no race, it knows no creed, no sexual gender...
                                    Extreme radicalism has no boundaries.

                                    b) You can't make a general, blanket statement such as banning guns for all under 30.

I went to college with some 22 and 23-year-olds who already had upper-six-figure businesses, CASH BUSINESSES established, where carrying a gun is a necessity. That's just one example.

What could be done, however, to obtain a business-related sidearm is to toughen up the laws.

                                    a) Prove to the municipal law agencies as to why exactly you need a carry license. (Cash business, for example)

                                    b) Prove to the same agencies that you can handle a pistol; the simplest way to do that is to pass a battery of tests at the local law enforcement shooting range, with all testing supervised and graded by law enforcement.

                                    c) Pass a battery of board-certified mental illness/wellness tests.

                                    d) Substantially increase the fees involved to obtain a gun license.

Might as well make things much more difficult all around, because you're not going to outlaw guns altogether.
How did the prohibition on the ban of all alcohol sales work out a century ago?
Not very well, the only ones who got filthy rich were the mobsters.
Corruption and bloodshed in the streets multiplied 100-fold.
Point being, if one is jonesing for a drink, one will find a drink, albeit legal booze or mob bathtub gin.
The same applies to one who wants/needs a gun, for whatever reason; that person will find a gun, most likely from not very reputable sources.

For Dwight Shrute and Guitar Josh:

Citing Utah state records, the Associated Press is reporting that while Robinson is a registered voter, he's not registered as a Republican or a Democrat (or a member of any other political party). Robinson is also listed as "inactive" on the Utah voter rolls, according to the AP, meaning he did not vote in the last two general elections (at least). His parents are both registered as Republicans.

Beyond these basic facts, other claims circulating online — that Robinson was photographed in a Democratic Socialists of America shirt; that he donated to President Trump's 2020 campaign; that he was photographed in a Trump shirt; that he is registered as a Republican — have been debunked.

You're pretty much describing Australian gun laws there.
