America is back. They have a real leader as president. Finally! Its been ages. Trump is leading by example. He's exposing how lazy and incompetent politicians have been, and are. Trump works his ass off and shows what hard work can achieve. He's old school. He's an inspiration to the world by showing anything can be done. Trump shows everyone that reputations can be resurrected and actions are stronger than words. I mean, that stuff was taught us when we were children. Not to all of us obviously or more likely, many have forgotten.
Obama famously said there is no magic wand. Imagine a president saying that to the people? Accept it. Nothing can be done. Its just the way it is. YOU didn't build that! WTF?
When you have been told repeatedly for years that losing is the new normal and that you just have to accept it, you will create generations of voters who will support criminals and need safe spaces. They will accept men competing gains women in competitive sports. They demonize you for saying men shouldn't walk around naked in women's locker rooms. They will defend the butchering of children's and call is gender affirming care. They will deny the election was rigged and pretend that voting machines and mail-in ballots are safe. They will push the Russia collusion narrative for years despite not a single shred of evidence. They will pretend that "protesting peacefully" means "inciting violence".
Oh and Former AG Bill Barr testified under oath yesterday that President Trump is not connected to the Epstein files, and if he were, Biden would have already leaked it. Common sense would tell you that as I have said the exact same thing more than once.
The people YOU listen to and get YOUR opinions from are the same people who push out all sorts of false narratives and literally lie to your face on a regular basis. How you don't see this, is baffling. They will collaborate to tell you that Musk did a Nazi salute on stage and YOU decided to believe it. That's just a tiny example of how you make it difficult to take you seriously at times. If I am not mistaken, you were fine with Aussie coppers coming to people's homes to remove them and take them to camps during Covid.
No matter what happens in the Ukraine/Russia war, you will look for, and/or invent a way to criticize him, just as the MSM does.

I Love Australia from the little time I have spent there. I have several friends and even extended family there.
I am trying to find my paradise. I will never give up trying. I hope keep traveling and see more of the world.
One goal is to travel in the US for a year spending time in every State.

I don't find negative opinions about Australia personally hurtful. I know a couple of different Americans who immigrated here and didn't like it due to all the rules people actually expect them to follow. To each their own.
You deserve some "ribbing" back that every criticism seems to be about authorities enforcing laws though.
From Melbourne cops arresting mask protesters, to when the govt rehoused (with agreement) some remote aboriginal tribal people to help stop the unusually high spread of covid in that community, to gun laws and now knife laws you sure do hate the idea of "law and order" down here.
And then out of the other side of your face constantly defend or call for stronger law enforcement in the US.
I'm not unhappy the cops can charge anyone carrying around a machete outside their own property without a very good reason for having it btw

I agree mostly with your post. I don't blame cops for doing their jobs. They are in a tough position when they are told by tyrants to arrest people for refusing to take an experimental drug of follow the orders of another tyrant/tyrants who give them ridiculous orders to follow. Yes, I am all for law and order but that doesn't mean I must agree with everything. Yes I believe the government should do whatever is necessary to get rid of crime, no I don't believe the government should fire you for taking an experimental drug. Yes, I am all for legal immigration, no I am totally against sanctuary cities which protect illegal criminals. Yes I believe police should fine bad drivers and those speed excessively, no I don't believe cops should set up radar traps at the bottom on hills and ticket people who go a little bit over the speed limit. I don't believe that you must call someone by their made-up pronouns or face fines or jail time. I don't believe you should be arrested for social media posts, no matter how disgusting they may be, unless you are calling for violence.

I am sure everyone is pro that. But in your case i think the words are meant to excuse selective enforcement of laws, and selective respect for the laws of the land and judiciary.
Despite being so similar, I believe a really base difference between US and Aussie culture is what we each see as rights. For Americans your personal rights are sacrosanct above all. For Aussies personal rights are very important but are secondary to community rights. What's good for most trumps what is good for me. The Bill Of Rights kind of makes it impossible for American people to think that way.
Pros and cons to both ideologies but i think that is the core of the reason why each group scratches it head about what the other thinks from time to time..Comment -

-think its fine to mutilate children because they want to be a different sex

-wear masks in a car while traveling alone
- continuously call everyone Hitler, a Nazi, a fascist, and a racist
