I can’t predict the future, but I can look at empirical evidence and see how rapidly the standard of living for the average person improves every single time those policies are the law of the land.

Again, I don’t mind paying taxes if I get my money’s worth. Right now, all I’m doing is funding legal vote buying schemes as the country continues to go down the pipes. That’s the problem, there’s no political profit in a real long term fix, the political profit is in a monthly check being sent out. If technology made things better, there’s not going to be any poverty since that technology is available around the world.
