Last week we saw protests in all 50 states, as tens of thousands of Americans began rising up and speaking out against Trump.
Pete Buttigieg also slammed Trump for failing to deliver on one of his biggest campaign promises:
“Huh I thought he was elected to bring prices down and make our lives better.

I’m not sure why anyone would think Trump had a great economy his first four years.
- HE LOST more Jobs than he Ever Created. Things were okay in year one, and that was because Obama's policies were still in force.
- However, at the end of year one, Trump signed his tax bill. That’s when things started to fall apart.
- By the end of 2018, we had already lost around 300,000 manufacturing jobs as almost 2,000 US manufacturing plants closed because of Trump's trade wars with almost everybody.
- Remember Trade Wars mean Tariffs which are TAXES on what YOU buy…inflation.
- Family Farmers went bankrupt in the thousands as Russia supplanted the US (--Due in large part to Trump Tariffs/Taxes--) as the chief importer of soy into China.
- By 2019, the Fed was lowering interest rates for the first time (to combat the sluggish economy) *since Bush was President to combat the slowing economy, and Trump himself complained that they didn’t commit to doing more to prevent a recession.
- Before the pandemic, he had already increased the whopping deficit every year (including his budget plan for 2020),
- Stock market growth had slowed by two-thirds compared to Obama's policies.
- The drop in unemployment had similarly slowed by two-thirds,
- and he was already the first President in history to maintain a debt-to-GDP ratio over 100% for his entire time in office…that’s GROWING DEBT faster than the nation's Gross Domestic Product.
- The pandemic actually helped him.
- Despite record drops, 2020 ultimately saw the best stock market growth since 2017 thanks to pandemic stimulus spending.
- And the pandemic gave him a convenient excuse for his “ failing “ economy. If not for Covid, the focus during the 2020 election would have been on how to recover the economy from the Trump recession.
