What is best for the people is my only perspective really. I have no dog in the red/blue fight. Although I am also thinking about what is best for Australia before America as well, which I guess can seem to make some of my opinions strange.

I don't think we can ever expect not to marketed at to tell us what to think. Disguising it as news has kind of wrecked the old style communication channels though. The way to fix that is via the people not accepting any sort of bias from any news source though. Instead of us all gravitating the sources that play to our interests. :\


And yeah, FFS please pick someone sensible. The whole problem started when Dems picked the worst possible easy option with Biden the first time imho. That was the moment for them to find another JFK or Bill Clinton style candidate who could make changes, like Trump is able to be seen as doing.

Yes we can, it's called journalism. I want the facts and the good/bad about each side of an argument and to make my decision based off that. The American public has pretty much shunned the legacy media because they can't be trusted to tell the truth.


Maybe you give them credit to do so but many on that side of the aisle are still pushing DEI etc even though it has been rejected my most Americans. Do they have the capability to look in the mirror, learn from their mistakes and read the room correctly? Their top future candidates stand for everything that the country rejected in November and I do not see that changing anytime soon.

I really like Peter Dutton and Albanese seems like a complete pussy with no backbone. From everything I have read and heard, it would be stunning if Dutton did not win.
