So Hunter wasn't appointed to the board of Burisma and he never made millions?
I wonder why Biden "The Big Guy" demanded the prosecutor looking into corruption at Burisma be fired?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Joe Biden bragging about his Ukrainian quid pro quo to help cover up the millions the Biden crime family got from Hunter’s fake job at Burisma. <br><br>I thought quid pro quo’s were impeachable offenses? <a href="https://t.co/BGeJRWN34S">pic.twitter.com/BGeJRWN34S</a></p>— Glockford Files (@GlockfordFiles) <a href="https://twitter.com/GlockfordFiles/status/1724085861824815122?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" >November 13, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>The same FBI who had over 2 dozen agents in the crowd on J6?
The same FBI ... FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was intimately involved in the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the probe of Russian election-meddling, vowed to “stop” Donald Trump from reaching the White House in an August 2016 text message to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, the Washington Post reports.
“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page wrote to Strzok in a text message set to be released Thursday as part of a Department of Justice inspector general’s report.
“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok, who was dating Page at the time, responded.
That FBI?
And I didn't even mention the 51 intelligence officials who signed a letter saying Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation after having the laptop for over year and going to Facebook just before the story was about to break so the would bury the story and not allowed to share it?
That FBI?

#15548I just need a simple yes or no from Trump supporters. Will you assign blame to him for promising he'd lower grocery prices if it turns out his policies and tariffs actually make them skyrocket to unprecedented highs? If that happens, will you blame Trump? Yes or no? Or is just literally nothing ever his fault and he's not accountable for anything he says ever?
I want to understand how you guys think, and I want to believe it's not pure sycophantism and blind worship. But if he can't be blamed for anything ever, then all arguments about it become pointless.Comment -

#15549Yesterday, right-wing news outlets celebrated a new poll that was released with the headline: “Most Americans approve how Trump is handling his return to the White House.”
Wanna guess who ran this poll and ridiculous story? Nope, it wasn’t Fox.
It was CNN, who even went so far to say their numbers prove Trump has “earned a honeymoon period with the public.”
As if we needed another reason not to watch their network anymore.
It took some digging, but I was able to get a copy of the 33-page polling memo, and the fine print is just ridiculous.
Having worked with pollsters for decades—I can tell you this whole thing needs to be ripped to shreds.
Out of the mere 1,011 people polled, 72% said they were only somewhat, not too closely, or not at all following news about Trump’s transition. So if these folks aren’t paying attention, why is CNN pretending this represents all of America? It was the basis for their entire article, after all.
What they should have said is that only a slim majority of the small sample they polled—most of whom aren’t aren’t actively tuned in—“approve” of how Trump was “handling” his return to the White House.
It’s maddening to see CNN take these numbers, and spin this pro-Trump headline. This is why they’re experiencing their lowest ratings in decades.

#15551Alright, let’s do the math, MAGA.
You’ve got billionaires lounging in their mansions, hitting the Social Security tax cap sometime before Valentine’s Day.
Meanwhile, undocumented immigrants, who can’t even use Social Security, are pumping $25.7 billion into the system every year.
So, who’s really footing the bill for your grandma’s check or your disability?
Not Jeff Bezos, that’s for sure. He stops chipping in after his morning espresso.
But that undocumented worker picking strawberries in 100-degree heat? They’re paying in full, and getting nothing back.
If we’re talking about who’s earning their place, maybe we should start with a question: who’s more deserving of a one-way ticket out?
The folks quietly keeping Social Security afloat, keeping the costs down or the billionaires hoarding 98% of the wealth while crying about “fairness”?
Your call, America.Comment -

Poor trade deals can take years to see their effects. Trump renegotiated NAFTA right away. It can be done. Case by case. You won't win every battle.
Let me refresh your memory again about Toyota a while ago. They wanted to sell their vehicles in the US. The US said ok but you build your plant in the US or we will put a 25% tariff. So they built a plant in the US creating good jobs. Canada and the US made similar deals.
Don't you think that many things should be cheaper to buy in your country if they are made domestically? Ya I know not everything can be, but a lot can. Surely, not everything has to be made in China does it?
Do you think China should be able to dump steel into the US in order to decimate the US steel industry?
Dumping Steel into Global Markets: For instance, China producers have increasingly routed their steel exports through Vietnam, India, Mexico and other intermediary countries to bypass tariffs and trade restrictions. These nations remain some of the hardest hit by China's steel dumping.
Let's talk about illegal immigration then. Trump threatened Mexico with tariffs if they didn't stop illegals from coming into the US through Mexico. Millions were coming. We all saw the caravans despite the MSM telling us they didn't exist. We were basically told not to believe our eyes. Guess what happened? Ya Mexico deployed thousands of their soldiers to THEIR southern border. Actions have consequences. If Mexico allows millions of people to walk through their country from central and South America, then why doesn't the President tell them to stop it? Unless they didn't want to stop it of course, and Biden wanted millions to come in costing billions of dollars, ruining cities and overwhelming schools etc. They literally lied saying the border was secure and the media pushed the lie for them. So excuse me for not buying the same lies from the same grifters about tariffs.
The point is, and I have said it before, tariffs are a bargaining tactic. Always have been. Every country uses them. Its called negotiations, which is how things have always been done. Done with smart competent people that is.
Back to your question, yes of course I will blame Trump when he does something I disagree with or he did a bad job on. Always have. Unlike the radical Left, I won't continue to blow smoke up your ass pretending something is something other than what is is. I mean, come on man, the Left couldn't even admit Biden had dementia. MSNBC said he was the sharpest he's ever been right up to the debate. LOL. No throne sniffing here. Can you say the same?Last edited by DwightShrute; 12-12-24, 11:47 PM.Comment -

#15559As a candidate, Donald Trump campaigned—and won—this year on the promise he would lower prices for Americans angry after the COVID pandemic’s inflation brought steep price increases, but now he’s backtracking, saying he’s not sure he will actually be able to fulfill those vows. Outrage at Trump, and the people who voted for him based on that pledge, was palpable on Thursday.
As recently as Sunday, MSNBC reports, Trump insisted, “We’re going to bring those prices way down.”
“’Prices will come down,’ Trump told voters during a speech last week laying out his vision for a return to the White House. ‘You just watch: They’ll come down, and they’ll come down fast, not only with insurance, with everything.'”
“’We will end inflation and make America affordable again, and we’re going to get the prices down, we have to get them down,’ Trump said at a rally in September. ‘It’s too much. Groceries, cars, everything. We’re going to get the prices down.'”
“’We will cut your taxes and inflation, slash your prices, raise your wages and bring thousands of factories back to America,’ Trump said at a Georgia rally in October, reciting a line he used in speeches at several other events.”
‘I will cut your energy prices in half within 12 months.'”
‘Vote Trump, and your incomes will soar. Your net worth will skyrocket. Your energy costs and grocery prices will come tumbling down.'”
“Trump in Asheville in August: ‘From the day I take the oath of office, we will rapidly drive prices down, and make America affordable again’ ‘Prices will come down. You just watch. They’ll come down and they’ll come down fast. Not only with insurance, with everything.'”
Thursday morning quoting Trump saying “You know, it’s very hard” to bring prices down set of an explosion of anger at the incoming occupant of the White House.
Ron Fournier, a business executive and former journalist asked, “Wait. He promised to bring them down. Did he …
… lie?”
'Did he lie?' Trump questioning his price-lowering promises sparks anger

The report is a major debunking of Republican conspiracy theories, but it's four years late and comes after Trump is already president-elect.
