I will give Maher some credit for some of the things he says rather than just repeating the far Left talking points on his HBO show. But he still refuses to accept the truth when its presented to him on several things. Megyn Kelly took him to school when he tried to push the lies that he's still committed to and counter punched him lights out when he resorted to his personal attacks. She's as close to a the perfect woman as there is. Smart and beautiful.
The first few minutes are great if you get some time.

According to a Harris poll, 55% of Americans think the economy is shrinking, 56% think we're in a recession, 49% think the stock market is falling, 49% think unemployment is at a 50-year high.
I have scant regard for the accuracy of polls but if this one is accurate it's a damning indictment of the awareness of the American public. Either through apathy or the failure of news media to get out the truth. And presumably most of these people vote.

Sure a minority may be suffering hardship (as is always the case) but that's not because the economy is shrinking or that it is in recession.
And with record low unemployment and the stock market at record highs it is just absurd to think more than half the population actually thinks that way.

Ya she got over it. Good for her. She acknowledged she made a mistake and moved forward. She never dug in her heels to one political party or ideology. I remember Trump saying he gives her credit for her coming to see him after that infamous debate. He said he wouldn't have done it himself and that took a lot of courage.
She also felt bad for trans people and actually used those dumb pronouns when she had that NBC job. She did it out of sympathy which most people can understand back then. She soon realized, and admitted, she made a mistake.
I remember being ok when hearing about the patriot act all those years ago. I remember believing that there must be WMD's in Iraq because why would the US spend trillions and sacrifice thousands of Americans if there weren't. I was wrong on both counts.
Yet, there are people who still believe Trump colluded with Russia, AOC is intelligent, there was an insurrection on J6, Trump told people to drink bleach, people were taking horse medicine, Trump called Nazis "very fine people", Trump made fun of a reporter's disability, you won't get covid or infect others with covid if you get the jab, and dozens more despite irrefutable evidence these are all lies.Comment -

When did she acknowledge she made a mistake. I missed that ( would that not go agaist your '''as close to perfect as there is'') I'll have to go back and check that. He said he did and would change it if he could, but he would not say what there were. She was the bigger person and went to his office for an interview, but I never heard her say she made a mistake.
The Patriot Act really, one of the worst bills to come thru congress.
This is what I'm talking about, we find out that the Steele Dossier is BS, and that means that Trump did not have something going on with Russia.
Yet at least 2 from his camp plead guilty to secretly meeting with the Russian. But that one thing is wrong and that means nothing else matters. It's the Dwight way. Defend Trump at all costs. Even Jim Jones would be jealous of Trumps recruiting abilities and blind loyalty he gets.
Did he collude with Russia? I'm not sure, but there is enough evidence he could have. It doesn't look good, but yet you ignore the evidence.

Federal judges must recuse themselves if their impartiality can reasonably be questioned.
At this point it is difficult to make any reasonable case for Alito’s impartiality.
