All of them today. Comedy is lost. Everyone woke and walking on eggshells trying not to get cancelled.

I miss when comedians were being rude and attacked gayness, race and religion full on. No holds bar if they were creative and made it funny.

I think what was funny about that show for me is the real character Charlie, offscreen lived like that X 1000. Mix in drugs, escorts and erratic hotel room demolitions and it wasn’t even acting.

His skits in this character were filmed for the DVD release of National Lampoon’s Lost Reality, but they produced more drama than laughter. One skit involved Shaffir picking up some Mexican men at a Home Depot by telling them that he had construction work. But he didn't, and, well, just listen.

At the time when new episodes were playing it was entertaining for a few seasons. My Dad loved it to the end, and he was kind of intellectual usually.
