My guess is; the climate changed again.!

Mother Nature is dishing out fall weather faster than Starbucks can launch its seasonal flavors, as a blast of cool air sweeps across much of the country.

The FOX Forecast Center says a significant cold front is pushing through the nation’s northern tier, setting the stage for the coolest stretch of temperatures so far this season.

The front is expected to usher in widespread temperatures in the 40s and 50s, with highs only in the 60s and 70s - marking a sharp departure from the oppressive heat domes that typically dominate the news in August.

Our normal climate is collapsing as Arctic swelters in devastating heat Finland has had three straight weeks with 30C heat. And reindeer are dying in arctic Finland from the relentless heat Peatlands dry out, releasing carbon, and amplifying warming.

Imagine if 20 or even 10 years ago - someone told you there would be weeks of over 30 C (86 F) in places like Arctic Finland People would say you were a crazed loon Yet millions of deniers out there trying to normalize this as normal

    I'm not a leftie.

I don't think I am absent of a mind or any intelligence.

And I do think I try to think independently. Do you? Ever?

Agree. Disappointing state of affairs that so many have been sucked in to be violently partisan about every single thing.

It’s very difficult having a knowledgeable conversation with someone that only can see things left and right. WTF is Woke? Where did you get that term from? Did you come up with that term from your intelligent, independent thought?

Where do you live? Maybe your world is fine. I grew up in Cleveland Ohio. Lake Erie caught on fire when I was a teenager. A fukking lake caught on fire. No one swam in that lake as you could step on a hypodermic needle from drug users. It took decades to clean that shit up. I worked in coal plants, also oil refineries, and LNG. Do you think it’s a fukking coincidence that all the cities with these plants are the worst cities in air quality? Why do you think more and more intelligent communities say, “Not in My Backyard”. All you need to do is visit Bakersfield, CA and immediately you will notice you breath differently and can’t seem to see very far on the road in front of you. I have friends in Houston that struggle with allergies here that are perfectly fine in any other city. Why don’t you move your family to Bakersfield then tell us the world is fine.

I don’t like the term CLIMATE CHANGE because the climate changes often. It’s more CLIMATE/ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT and there is no doubt that humans impact our environment. Air/water pollution probably the biggest that lead to many, many deaths and health issues across the globe. Take China 30 years ago, the air quality was life threatening in some cities. Well they’ve installed massive amounts of solar and wind capacity cutting coals share of their energy mix. Cleaner energy makes up 44% of China’s electricity and you can see/smell the difference today.

One area that is not talked about much is biochemical terrorism. There’s certain chemicals that can decimate an entire aquifer with just a few gallons. It is rather easy to destroy drinking water sources. There’s also chemicals that have no odor and could kill hundreds of people into a building ventilation.

‘You better believe man can impact nature.

New findings from studying over two decades of satellite observations reveal that the Earth’s continents have experienced unprecedented freshwater loss since 2002, driven by climate change, unsustainable groundwater use and extreme droughts.

The study, led by Arizona State University and published today in Science Advances, highlights the emergence of four continental-scale “mega-drying” regions, all located in the Northern Hemisphere, and warns of severe consequences for water security, agriculture, sea-level rise and global stability.

The climate alarmists regularly seize on weather events they believe will help them exploit their narrative. Naturally, they ignore contradictory information. So we see it as our duty to fill in the gaps from time to time. Following are a few examples that show why the global warming story is less scientific theory than conjecture in the service of a political agenda.[LIST][*]

Let’s begin in the West Arctic, where the Northwest Passage is experiencing its third-highest level of sea ice extent in the last two decades. In 2009, Al Gore said, with his usual galling listen-to-me certainty, the Arctic polar ice cap could be gone during summer within five to seven years.[*]There has been “marked cooling since the early 2010s … which is likely linked to a documented slowdown in Greenland’s warming and ice loss,” say a pair of South Korean researchers.[*]

Efforts to attribute the deadly Texas flood, in which the Guadalupe River rose by 37.5 feet, to human carbon dioxide emissions have been debunked (as has every other attempt to tie man’s CO2 to harsh weather). Our friend Steve Milloy of JunkScience.com points out that “much worse flooding had occurred more than a century earlier in July when the Guadalupe River had risen by a whopping 42.3 feet.”[*]

Summer heat is always blamed on man’s fossil fuel use. This year, more than 160 million people in the Midwest, the South, and on the East Coast endured temperatures around the 100-degree mark. But nothing has happened to indicate that man is responsible. Have a look at the data.[*]

Last month, H. Sterling Burnett of the Heartland Institute noted that polar ice has refused to follow the climate crisis narrative. “Having examined the data and history, I knew Antarctica has not been following the climate crisis script since the alarm was first raised with James Hansen’s theatrically staged 1988 congressional testimony in which he claimed the Earth was dangerously warming due to human activity.”[*]

Last month, a Tampa, Fla., meteorologist blamed “climate change,” and we don’t assume he’s talking about natural variations that have always existed, for 90-degree days having doubled in the city. He was fact-checked by the Committee For a Constructive Tomorrow: “Tampa does not represent the rest of Florida. The average number of days reaching 95

In a teleconference with reporters on Tuesday, representatives from NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the international Solar Cycle Prediction Panel announced that the Sun has reached its solar maximum period, which could continue for the next year.

The Sun has officially reached Solar Maximum for Solar Cycle 25. This means we are currently in a period of heightened solar activity with increased sunspots, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections. While the peak of this activity is expected to last for a year or two, the effects of Solar Maximum can be felt for a longer period.

    Here's a more detailed explanation:
    • Solar Maximum:
. This is the peak of the cycle, characterized by a greater number of sunspots and more frequent solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
    • Impact on Earth:
. Increased solar activity can lead to more frequent and intense geomagnetic storms, which can impact satellite operations, communication systems, GPS, and even power grids.
    • Northern Lights:
. Solar Maximum also means a greater chance of seeing the Northern Lights (auroras) as they can be visible further south due to the increased solar activity.
    • Potential for Stronger Storms:
. While the current solar cycle is predicted to be relatively average in strength, it's still possible for powerful solar storms to occur.
    • Solar Cycle:
. The Sun has an approximately 11-year cycle of activity, alternating between periods of high (Solar Maximum) and low (Solar Minimum) activity.

If it’s hot we call it Summer. If it’s cold we call it Winter. If you have a recent university degree and you follow Greta Thunberg on social media, you call it climate change. Simple

    an inconvenient truth

Joe Rogan fact checks Senator Bernie Sanders after he tried shaming people who think Climate Change is a hoax.

Sanders: Some people think climate change is a hoax. It ain't a hoax. I think the last 10 years have been the warmest on record.

Rogan: Did you see the Washington Post piece? They found that we're in a cooling period ... This was a very 'inconvenient' discovery, but they had to report the data, and kudos to them for doing that.

Wait a second... There's a huge comet headed for the moon. Things might get dicey here in the near future. If we all drove Tesla's, that comet would surly head out into infinity without even a thought.

The climate changed here last week. 90 degrees one day, 50 degrees a few day's later. Hurry, get your Tesla while they last.
We owned a couple of comets in the 1960's, great cars. Glad you brought them up.
