I think he's emphasizing pulling the gun down, not right or left.

Seems like he is pushing away as he pushes the gun down. He's not pointing the gun down, he's pushing it down and pointing it up.

I think the key in his video is that he's stepping aside, giving the same effect as pushing away, while making the downward movement with a slight push away.

Seems like he's aware of keeping the gun away to me.

Right Handers have to reverse his move.

I think you use your strong and quicker arm to always grab the gun first and then your off hand to then grab the back of the gun secondly. That's what I would do.

I'm right handed so that would be the hand I use first to grab the gun quickly and point it away from my body.

It is muscle memory and should be practiced I think also. Empty your gun and grab a friend and try it several times.

Two hands on the gun is a problem and should only be used if one hand didn't get it strong.. less than a second to decide that. Because if you commit the left arm and hand on the gun along with your right, now you're off balance and vulnerable to a spill or a hit. Another move is to not grab the gun because it's a small target that is dangerous... but rather push his forearm which holds the gun away and in the same motion tackle him. Don't try a punch. Tackle with your body and left arm, moving towards his back side to the left, and hold gun away with the right hand. He will always try to get the gun back so you can get him down and knock him out without the gun.

I refuse to be a victim of a violent crime. I had a home break in a few years ago and almost blasted him while he was running and diving out my broken window in the middle of the night. I was prepared then and am prepared now!
