also quite sure that 51% of the community would want the store reopened... make it happen optional! since you are all in on democracy and apparently i'm not!

while you're at it the usa could be really democratic and vote on whether to send this $37 billion to ukraine yesterday, after zelensky totally lied about the source of the missiles in poland... hmm i wonder what % of the population would want to keep sending that kind of money while they are struggling to pay for gas and food... but to even mention that undermines democracy! it's more democratic to just shut up and let totalitarians just run amok and spend whatever they want?

i can't really think of any great democracies that were built by obeying draconian laws... that seems like cowardice and obedience, which are not nearly as noble as people have claimed the past few years... i'm the good guy because i'm wearing my mask, taking a vaccine, and forcing you to do the same! um NO
    Cry me a river Mike.

Democracy requires having respect for the majority vote/decision. You have zero respect for it or your country as far as I can tell. Zero. When was the last year you actually posted a positive word about America? Seriously you are a very big whiney snowflake these days (and yeah cry again about being called names )

do you not read the posts that you give points to? optional has the power to censor my speech here. politicians have also said that dangerous speculation, opinions, and facts(malinformation) are a threat to democracy because they undermine trust in our corrupt country. in my opinion, ppl should doubt that our government(both parties) has their best interests in mind. the government can stop you from having a public meeting by arresting or killing you like they are doing with assange, snowden, and many other whistleblowers and possibly epstein.

social media sites working with our government and also many foreign governments constantly censor opinions and info that turns out to be true but was against the official narrative at the time. the dhs created the disinformation governance board but it was scrapped when there was public outrage about it being a violation of the first amendment and the head of the board was caught spreading disinformation on her twitter account. now we have a new government internet censor:

        MIS, DIS, MALINFORMATION

CISA’s Mis-, Dis-, and Malinformation (MDM) team is charged with building national resilience to MDM and foreign influence activities. Through these efforts, CISA helps the American people understand the scope and scale of MDM activities targeting elections and critical infrastructure, and enables them to take actions to mitigate associated risks. The MDM team was formerly known as the Countering Foreign Influence Task Force (CFITF).

corporations also exert their influence to suppress speech. as we have seen recently with kanye and kyrie irving if you share opinions that they dont like then they try to take away your job and ruin you financially. if you think about it, what they are saying is similar to what race hustlers and feminists say. no one is upset when they say that white ppl or men have all the power and control the government and corporations and abuse this power. but when you say jewish ppl control holywood and the banking system then you need to be punished. in both cases they have disproportionate representation.

paypal recently added a $2500 minimum fine for misinformation into their acceptable use policy but then later removed it after it became widely reported on social media. they claimed that they accidentally added it. banks are starting to ban ppl with controversial opinions now too.

you've posted 9 times in this thread, all to call people names or whine about something

i wasn't crying about being called names, just pointing it out, since forums like this are supposed to be about civil discussions

why make it personal? i've never done a single bad thing to you and you've never done a single bad thing to me... politicians/governments on the other hand have closed my kids' school, closed churches, told me i couldn't have a funeral for a family member, told me i couldn't visit my dad in the hospital, told my son he couldn't get a job without taking a dangerous jab, etc etc etc

but i'm just crazy for ever getting mad about that kind of thing right? i should love these guys that have been ruining my great country and pissing off the great people in it

Yes the government can put you in jail to keep you silent, no social media can keep you silent there is plenty of other places to voice your opinion I would hate to think That SBR or any other site, or the Internet as a whole, for that matter, is the only place to be heard!
SBR can't lock you up with no access to the outside world or any other site that I know of!

i never said that there is no place that you can speak. i was just making fun of optional for parroting talking points that politicians use about how uncensored speech is a threat to democracy. the ppl in power want censorship of speech on all major platforms because your ideas dont matter unless you can get them out to millions of ppl. the government wants a monopoly on spreading misinformation and doesnt want anyone to challenge them.

Wow...Enough of this silliness that presenting a complaint against the anti-democratic
actions of corrupt politicians is anti-democratic.

You'll be back to whatabout Hillary again soon.

You're both just avoiding the point that blindly spreading stuff like the OP cartoon just to support an ideology is undermining democracy.

The idea that Twitter, or SBR or any other site can take your constitutional rights away is something that's talk about a lot, and they can't, I thought that was what you were saying again my bad.

"I'm not crying, I just have repeatedly said it maybe 50 times(?)" .

Own your damn opinion and words or STFU cream cheese.

Gawd damn, how can you consistently be such a pussy whilst claiming to be the strong one?!

Will you be honest and admit you are complaining about being called names this time? Ya blouse wearing, poodle walking, nancy boy.

And you still haven't made a single argument why posting that meme is not showing you hate democracy and hate America (as they stand today)... all you have done is complain about what I say and how I say it. Talk about a hypocrite hiding behind standing up for freedom of speech whilst you tell me my words are bad!

Should SBR censor name calling? Is that your suggestion? Suits you to squash speech when it suits you eh!

You are so partisan that you need to pigeon hole me in the same way.

All you see me arguing for is fairness and respect for the democratic system.
Lol just say it. You think I'm a Trump supporter.

I've said this many times, Trump or Biden, they all have the same bosses.

Anyway, if you comply with their demands, when they're clearly wrong, you are complicit.

Even now, you will never admit, they fukked up with Covid and forcing people with the jabs.

Do you still think the jabs are "safe and effective"?

I think the data in Australia shows that the jabs reduced the fatality rate by about 10x what is in the USA.

I did not like the idea of rnma technology suddenly being approved after 20 years trying. So did not take an rnma vaccine.

I chose not to take any boosters after the first 2 shots.

I think I made the right choices based on what I knew and could see happening at the time. But knowing what I know now may not have taken any vaccine at all.

I hope I don't die early due to those choices, but nothing I can do now and no use buying into any campaign of fear you know-it-alls about what is best for everyone so enjoy being pawns for.

But carry on. If only we were all so smart and all knowing as you

Democracy is the best system I know of where we the people are fairly free and mostly able to prosper if we try hard enough.

I don't need to be a drone and think those we elect are perfect to accept that the system is not perfect. And I am cynical about politicians. And American ones do seem a lot worse than Australia's, so I probably am more trusting than the avg American. But don't mistake that for blind compliance. That's what annoys me about partisan arguments. Each side is just following the script as I see them.
                                                .

random aussie - hey mate, what do you do for work?

random aussie - wow just like my 12 year old gamer son does!

thats not really true. courts have already ruled that official government accounts on social media sites cannot block or delete comments solely because of different viewpoint. i believe it is also a violation of the first amendment for the government to pressure/threaten social media sites to censor ppl based on viewpoint. zuckerberg has already admitted that the fbi advises him on what to censor on facebook.

many others were also banned for "conspiracy theories" that are now accepted as true, even though they posted information in a civil manner, related to lockdowns/blm/vax/etc ... i guess they weren't conspiracy theories they were spoiler alerts
