#16i dont mind threads like this to loosen things up a little bit. My soda drinking has dropped big time in the last 20 years. When i was a teenager and into my mid 20s i drank a lot of soda. I was always stopping into am/pm for 32 oz Pepsi. Now i only drink soda with a few things.Comment -

#27been drinking on average, about a 2 liter per day since i was a kid. i'm in my 40's now. most of the soda hate that circulates is absurd bullshit. i've never weighed more than 200 pounds (have a lot of muscle and eat a decent amount of meat.) i don't have diabetes. i'm not hyper. i never feel drained, lack energy or anything else like that. i can do physical work for 10 hours, then go run full court ball if i want.
soda has been a main scapegoat for all these fat ass kids who just sit around all day.. playing video games while pounding fast food and shit. of course they're at risk for diabetes when they don't exercise and are like 50 pounds overweight. i only eat fast food like burger king maybe 3-5 times per year. i buy ice cream maybe once every 2-3 months. i rarely eat candy and cakes. i've never had an energy drink in my life. and i get plenty of exercise through work or sports. a lot of the people who try to act all righteous about it are the same ones who have bowls of candy sitting around their house, go to mcdonald's a few times a week, down monsters like crazy and are always making greasy/fattening shit to eat. you know.. you can make your "dunkin" run every morning to get coffee and a donut or sandwich, then eat some slop at work and finish your day off by ordering from a restaurant. but god forbid if you touch a soda.
the only 2 truths that stand out are both results of too much sugar, period. one, it does slowly wear down your teeth more than the average pace. two, it dries out the skin.. which some may find annoying. that's sugar being sugar. fat people need to learn self control and it's not a problem.Comment -

#29Get new ones then. This isn't the 18th century. You can get new teeth that look better than the original. At least as good. Most retired NHL players have them for example. Compare their befores to their afters. The afters look way better almost unequivocally.Comment -

#30I don't drink cans. Aluminum has been linked to Dementia and MS so fuckk that. I drink about 2-5 2 liters per day though depending on what I'm doing and how thirsty I am. I have less than 6% body fat so it ain't the soda making y'all fat asses it's something else y'all doin wrong. Probably the sedentary lifestyle or the fat laden fast food.Comment -

#33i was drinking diet soda for a good year at around 3 glasses a day and i noticed slowly not feeling well - acid reflux, indigestion, sluggish. i have stopped the last 3 weeks and i honestly feel a lot better. i even lost bloat in my stomach.Comment -

#34You remind me of this anorexic girl I know. She'll drink by putting the liquid in her mouth, swishing around like mouthwash then spitting it out. Never swallows. Same thing with food. She'll bite it chew it spit it out without swallowing. She weighs like 75 pounds you can see all her bones. She's broken her hips just doing normal daily activities from malnutrition. Never starve the body. If it's craving a 2 liter of Coke or root beer give it what it wants. Otherwise you look the photos from Auschwitz.Comment -
