Recirculated air shared across the whole ship with 1000+ people for weeks is not for me. Well proven to a virus incubator.

FWIW: I just got off an Alaska cruise. Everyone must be double vaccinated and tested 48 hours before boarding.
The days before the first port are very safe, then the mixing with the unvaxxed begins and by cruise end there was about a 1-2% infection rate. It's about as safe as you can get these days. Now with the B5 variant who know?

My Mom just got back from a European cruise and she got Covid while on board and was quarantined for 8 days and missed most of it.

Long story short, I agree with Optional...no way in hell you can get me on a cruise ship going forward.

Well... it is your life. It's a shame everyone has to change their thinking because of this. I went on a cruise for the first time in my life Late Spring 2018. Best thing that ever happened to me. If the cruise lines don't think of an easy way to convince people to go.... might as well file bankruptcy.... or sell.

I avoid wearing masks and will get on a plane and visit Vegas. Hardly changing my life over it.

Just got back from Vegas. Everyone on the plane was masked but at the airports, maybe 50% masked. Casinos probably had a 5% mask rate. I think I saw 5 people masked in a full poker room. Whatever makes you comfortable is the way to go. No judgement on my part.
