Overall I know I'm not in a bad position. I have a good income and many expenses in my life are basically already fixed and pretty reasonable

My problem is I obsess over what I lost and I want to get it back ASAP....
You guys are right

I'm just frustrated with myself at how far this has all spiraled out of control

I went through something similar in my 20s albeit for much less amounts, but it's all relative. I put myself in a bad spot doing same thing. Probably terrible advice but what I learned is could get same thrill betting smaller amounts, or betting futures. Set myself a budget. I'd load my account and pick a number like say 4 X my deposit. If I hit it, I'd throw 1/4 my winnings on some future bets, and 1/2 i'd withdraw, and 1/4 to continue playing with. Rinse and repeat. If I ran out of money in my account (can't touch winnings withdrawn), I'd wait until next month where I allowed myself another allotment of cash to bet with. With some futures in play you always have some kind of action and don't need to feel forced to bet either.

Cognitive Therapist could probably help with strategies to beat that part.

Once you accept Christ into your soul your profit margin will increase for the next 18 months. You will have good months and bad months but Christ will bring you an average return of 63.5% profit. May Baby Jesus bless your plays.

                              That's not correct Jerky.

It was about some crazy PMs he was sending. Basically personal threats and some rotten.com level pics.

I have to live with the image in my head of his toilet bowl selfie half way through evacuation forever as well.

This year, I put in 50K and hit a crazy hot streak...I had about a 2 month period in NBA where I was winning at like 65% clip. I got 50K up to about 300-400K. On one sunday, I went 1-9 and lost about 100K. I started chasing like crazy and lost the remaining 200-300K

Since then, things have gotten really bad - I took out loans of about 40K and lost another 100K out of my 401k (I'm now down to 50K)

I don't know what to do. I'm so depressed about this whole situation. I make really good money (about 200-230K) working in sales and my fiance will start working as a nurse in 6 months so I'll have about a 280K household income. The income sounds great but I'm so depressed about how much I've lost that it's hard for me to get excited

I know I need to stop gambling and I've finally stopped but how can I get myself out of this hole mentally? I'm 33 years old. I swear to god I'm not lying about anything - I can post screenshots for everything I claimed

You and i have a lot in common. I lose control though chasing in the online casinos . Sports betting not as bad i normally can stop. But i lost everything at one point in the caesars casino. Have been fighting to build it back since.

I as you luckily have a nice advantage of a good pay. I get a residual income selling Medicare products. After 16+ years at about $10000 a year .

I think you need to maybe try my strategy. Start low and take shots . A 3 game streak can get you around $5000 . When i am cold and get that i will cash out at $5000 . If i am running hot i will keep going until $10000 . I have hit $15000 a bunch the biggest cashout was $20000 . But these were all starting with between $150 - $500 . Never more. I mean with a good bonus to start a $400 deposit could be $10000 on a 4 game streak. In that case you cash out take the nice profit. If you get there again then maybe take another shot since you cashed out already. Personally if i cash out a couple times and get in that spot again i get really aggressive.

However i am in a massive cold streak right now so if i get to $5000 i will take that probably depending where i am in the rollover. Just to stop the bad run.
