True. I don't dislike him. I just never got into the vibe. All sounded the same.

Zhit, how'd i miss this one. lol

#375 Scissor Sisters - Scissor Sisters - I only know this one song. I think they had/have Louisville connections, or at least Lexington. I remember local paper did an interview with the burly hipster looking dude that plays guitar and is/was their main song(music) writer. And then that same week, or following weekend, they were the musical guest on SNL.
After that I hadn't heard them in years. Then about 4-5 yrs back I was at one of the local dive bars/taverns that is local neighborhood'ish crowds. Typical blue-collar and mainly Trump supporters. Went out on the deck for a smoke with couple ole buds, and when we went back in their only song I know was playing on jukebox. I was totally baffled. I was looking around like "Who da fuk would've played that song out of this group of people?"

#114 is a solid debut album from Cage The Elephant. I may be a bit partial to those guys from WKY/ Bowling Green Ky.

The 1st song really set the tone for the whole album.

#92 RHCP - By The Way - IMO wasn't one of their strongest albums. But a few decent jams on there.

This vid I think helped the single out just because of how wacky it was.

#67 Ryan Adams - Gold - I remember this one song being in heavy rotation. I think the vid actually came out right after 9/11 - but at beginning of video they state they filmed it just days before. Which makes it a bittersweet feeling watching it and listening to the lyrics love letter to NYC.

One of the greatest breakthrough debut albums of all time.

Most voting was probably from Louisvillians, or ex-Louisvillians. My Morning Jacket is probably one of the biggest/popular/well-known bands to ever come from The-Ville.

I never got into Wilco. I think they're decent, just not my style. But locally a lot of people enjoy them and they are played on WFPK and other local stations, quite often.

Ok that makes sense then. I know that they have a cult following but that seemed kinda nuts.

Wilco is ok but not really my style either. I have a buddy who absolutely loves Wilco...I just don't get it.
