The right strategy was always to keep society open and protect the vulnerable, senior citizens and nursing homes. Shutting down society to protect healthy young people never made any sense.

Sweden and other countries that kept their countries open were right, they just didn't do enough to protect the vulnerable in senior housing.

Let's be fair here they did do wonders for drug abuse, depression, suicides, divorces, anxiety, and job losses.

Lots of early screening for cancer and heart disease were missed too. It will be interesting to get the exact numbers of people who received inadequate or no treatment for what the government called elective procedures.
