    Yes, my nerves were shot by the end of the movie.
    Great acor Gene Hackman--he's still kicking at 91--and an athletic Kevin Kostner, who looked good enough physically to win a decathlon in the Olympics.
    No fat on this guy and if you saw the movie, there's no guessing why?

    Okay: The point as usual.
    I had the same feelings, emotionally and the same desperation as did KK in the last 45 minutes of this movie: "No Way Out." A 1988 movie I think?
    That sickening jab to the gut, and with my nerves completely shatterring by then in that final 12 minutes in that Tampa/LA game, was much worse than what the movie did to me. See, I only needed to win by 6pts.
    When LA practically blew the entire game with that slippery-fingered fumble, I knew right then, exactly what KK felt like in that last 45 minutes.
    Heck, I didn't even get the 45 minutes I needed for LA get their ass in gear and finish Tampa Bay off.

    KK barely survived this tale but if it was a true story, I bet he would need to go to a sanitarium and rest up and hope to regain, not only his his wasted emotions but also to try and gain about 20 lbs back?

    I sure don't need the 20 lbs but I feel like I could use that sanitarium rest.
    * Warning, long thread.

        Good choice My experience has taught me to only watch games where you are leading by a ton, or at least, if I have lots of breathing room. And yes, I only went back and forth on the Tampa/LA game. And just when I thought I was close having a lock, it happened, so I could hardly go back see the score. And I didn't, until hours after the game. But I knew my rear-end at 95%, was grass, worry or not. Like I said, I needed to win by 6.
