Looks like this one was very preventable. Kids were begging their parents to stay home from school over threats that a student was making. School knew something was going to happen and assured parents everything was fine.

Gotta arm teachers and have metal detector checks at all exits and enters at the schools. That will solve this problem just like that. Make the schools secure like a jail.

Maybe, but if a kid pulls out a gun and shoots 10 people, by the time a teacher gets their gun from some locked drawer or whatever, it will probably be too late.
