NFL chief urges franchises to sign controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick

NFL teams should entertain the idea of signing Colin Kaepernick, according to the league's commissioner Roger Goodell.

"We, the National Football League, believe black lives matter. I personally protest with you and want to be part of the much needed change in this country."

Goodell added: "Without black players, there would be no National Football League."

And now, the commissioner has specifically said teams should explore the possibility of signing him to play in the NFL again.

"If he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then obviously it’s gonna take a team to make that decision," Goodell told ESPN.
