I got a letter about being selected for Federal Jury Duty, how do I get out of this?

Other than that you're going to have to show up...just answer the attorney questions in the most opinionated and derogatory terms possible and you may also get excused

I sell insurance and Oct.15-Dec.7th is our annual enrollment period and the best chance we have to make money the whole year so if it was a different time of year I might be down but not this time of year

I just tell them the truth on how I wouldn't trust the prosecutor on anything. I would let OJ off even if they had a video. Last time the judge actually asked me if I could put my bias aside if he ordered me too, and then I had to let him know that judges are just below the prosecutor on my list of people I would listen to so no.

Sometimes you can postpone your jury duty for a later date once. That will at least get it moved to another period away from the dates you were looking to avoid

You can postpone your jury duty for up to 6 months (at least here you can in MN). Just call and set it up for early 2022 so you can sell insurance at the end of the year.

Last time I got called I made it all the way to the part where you are interviewed by the prosecutor and defense attorneys. It was a prostitution type case the guy was arrested for soliciting a under cover cop acting as a prostitute. I just told the prosecutor I will vote not guilty no matter what, I have a problem with under cover cops setting people up. The judge gave me a hard time but I didn’t budge and they dismissed me

Exactly. My dad was called in for jury duty and started dropping m’fers, barking about politicians, lawyers, etc… and they dismissed him immediately.

this for sure...mail carriers have bad days and mail gets lost all the time, if you didn't sign it from a courier use it as toilet paper lol
