When I was 22 I was in the third year of my IT career.
I was then a lead computer operator for Macy's at the time.
The CIO was an extremely astute but elderly IT and business guru, a man by the name of Morton Weitz.
Jewish professionals ran the retail and banking world back then and still do.

"Morty" pulls me aside for a chat one day and I'll never forget the words.
He says to me "Bill, I've taken a genuine liking toward you, don't ever be afraid of change, change is good"

Back then the IT world (software/hardware etc) was evolving and changing at warp speed and he wanted me to go to tech classes to get up to speed with all the new technology.
