He was engaged to marry her. You don't return home in her van without her and then never talk about what happened. He showed no interest in finding her or talking to police about her or what happened. That smells of guilt!!

Then he goes on the run and can't be found now.

When you kill someone you cared about it weighs on your soul over time, it begins to show. Something very real and spiritual about that. He could commit suicide now and I wouldn't be surprised..

Very sad, back in the late 80's here i had a friend and a dance partner at the local clubs, she went missing and 1 late afternoon i turn the evening news on and they found her body in the woods.she went out for a sat night and took a taxi home, the driver took her out to the woods and rape her and then ran over her with the cab, they found the guy and he hung himself in the jail before going to trial.....

He's a nature boy and probably in a tent right now in a Nature reserve. End goal could be to make it to Canada and start a new life.
