A distant friend {top ten}and associate who I've known for over 39 years passed away suddenly last night after contracting the co-vid virus. Art was 64. Arrangements are pending.

You can get covid at anytime no matter what. Vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting it.

I do realize that and what I am most worried about is spreading it to a vulnerable person in my community or family. My belief is that even if I came down with something that it would not be serious because I have taken the three shots, but, I would be a spreader.

So, I give it a few days before I mingle again after being at a big event someplace. I believe that someone who has not been vaccinated has a much, much, higher chance of catching COVID than I do. But, I would agree that someone who is 35 years old probably would not get any sicker than I would with my shots.

The spreading by either one of us is the bad thing.

I'm not unsympathetic.

I've said to my sister and others more than once I am very glad my kids are grown up and I do not have to make decisions about covid for them.

I'd be more stressed too.


But the carry on about masks is just dicky. If you are seriously suggesting that oxygen cant get in but virus can get out, you make it hard to have a rational conversation.

But lets assume oxygen levels are lower when wearing a mask... guess what happens? You're daughter unconsciously breathes more often or more deeply to compensate.

After two years there would be law suits all over the place if it was provable masks had any marked negative effect on anyone.
