Pfizer said they could produce a vaccine for omicron within 100 days of confirming the existing vaccines are ineffective. They indicated they are testing existing vaccines against omicron strain now.

I'm betting that any new strains that could evade existing drugs will lead to another vaccine.

Doesn't look like this will ever end. This will be the new norm.
