As a Republican, I'd say that yes, they would have tried to defend him unfortunately; however, the larger hypocrisy lies with the Me-tooers, and women's rights advocates sitting this one out -- not a peep from any of them, and even worse, some of them helped advise Cuomo on how to spin this. If this had been a Republican, there would be candlelight vigils, protest rallies, and marches to the governor's mansion. But since it was a Democrat -- not a single peep. More liberal hypocrisy....... same as usual
