I like all his Sci FI movies like Elysium and Martian. Good Will Hunting was very solid for a drama film. Even his latest movie Stillwater was decent. His Jason Bourne movies were very good also.

He's a good actor and picks the right movie scrips for sure.

I liked Steven Seagal's movies from the 90's. But after about 2000 or so they started to go downhill (obviously a matter of opinion).

I read a couple of years ago the best method actors in the business are D'onofrio and Christian Bale.
Of course the greatest method actor of all time was Brando.
My vote would be for Bale. His range of characters from the fighter, the big short, Ford vs Ferrari, also thought he was the best Batman out of the group, shows his abilities well

He is intense and sells out hard for the movie roles he takes. He dives into the roles 100% in other words. Loses weight for roles or bulks up for them. That's probably a sign for a good actor if you do that. Dude has a short fuse though and is agro.

                For sure.
The great method actors not only lock themselves into their particular role they do as much research about the character or topic they are portraying. They put in a ton of work even before they show up on the set.

                Bale checks all those boxes.

                I love D'onofrio.

For Detective Goren on Criminal Intent he studied Peter Falk.
He collapsed on the set of Full Metal Jacket from exhaustion.
                He's an incredible worker.
Works so hard the produces at Law and Order CI had to cut his workload in half. For his own good.

He helped make Julia Roberts what she is in Mystic Pizza.
Hell, Roberts wasn't supposed to be the lead female, Annabeth Gish was.
I read where that caused major animosity between the two females.

That weird looking guy that played Queen & Papillion might be getting traction

Ges got a role in New Bond. Hopefully it doesn't kill him like it did Javier Bordeim. Guy was great for 5 years then disappeared.

                  Blacks can't act.

Denzel/ Freeman same monoton 'I'm smarter than you because I talk like a white guy' in every movie

                  Sam Jackson just screams

Jamie Foxx is horrible and fugly

Jeffery Wright is a terrible actor

Leo in blackface would do better than all those guys

I like Sidney Poitier too. Ossie Davis was another good black actor.

                            I loved Moonlighting.
It was appointment, can't miss TV for me

                            Willis was the consummate wiseass.
Glen Gordon Caron was the brains behind that, he produced it and wrote all those classic one liner wisecracks for Willis.
That show worked on so many levels, Cybil Sheppard and Willis really didn't like each other, but it worked man.

                            Two things killed that series
The infamous writers strike, and the Die Hard movie was smashing it at the theater, and that was that.
Bruce went to major motion feature action films, Cybil went back to being a feministia and cosmetic pitch lady and model.
And Charles Rocket got shit canned from SNL for dropping the 'f' bomb live.

                                Yes he is.
I'm the driver of the D'onofrio fan boy bus.
Some of those confrontations in Law and Order CI are epic.
He devotes every breath he has to acting.
Acting is and almost did kill him.

Matt Damon 100x’s better than Ben Affleck.

Leo DiCap might be a little better than Matt Damon though, boys.
