2: Trump supporters are "logical" in "suggesting" .....? More like been screaming it from the beginning, even when Trump had it and went to the hospital.

3: I'm as tired of the mandates as anyone else, but only because this whole world health issue was turned political from the get go. I'm all for a mass extinction period. Sometimes you have to totally destroy a Country and decimate the population and weaken it's national security in order to be totally "FREE" again. [Wait, what's that? Russia and China are laughing their asses off at US.] (100 million fat f*cks think they can rise up and defend the whole Country all because they watched Red Dawn as a kid.)

I've been telling co-workers and friends(some blowhard Trump and Fox fanboys) that from the beginning they should have announced that the Insurance sector of the economy would dictate policy/mandates/rules etc. etc.
Meaning, the risk assessment and adjusters for Insurance companies that provide ALL levels of Insurance for a business(IE: Employer sponsored HC, Life Insurance, Short-term/Long-term disability, Workers Comp, General Liability, etc. etc.) would way the pros and cons of requiring employees to mask-up, and/or requiring patrons of the business to mask-up.
When this zhit started really being taken seriously - err, at least talked about more - the first business I can think of in my area that required a mask was AutoZone - at the time(probably very end Feb '20, maybe beginning march "20) there was no state mandates, or local, about masks.
Yet I went to stop by AutoZone and it wasn't just a sign on the door, they had a table in front of the doors with all these bold rules posted about masks and feeling sick and blah blah blah.
I just tuned around and left. Not because I'm all "I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GO INSIDE ANYWHERE I WANT HOWEVER I PLEASE!" type of A-hole. I just didn't have a mask because it wasn't a "thing" yet. I just rode across the street to O'Rielly's and there was no signs and workers and few customers weren't masked up. Same went for pretty much any business at that time. But AutoZone was early.
Was it because they just cared so much about health of the local people, or was it more along the lines of it came from whoever insures them laid out the risks and possibly how much their insurance would go up if they didn't take precautions to help minimize possible infection for their customers AND employees.
At that time local Walmart and DG's and other National/Regional chain type businesses hadn't required masks, but AZ was early.

Another thing that made me shake my head. A local gas station owned by some Indians(well, the younger guy with fluent English says he was born and raised in Chicago) and is busy as fu*k during the day. A lot of other small local businesses around. Mainly traditional blue-collar type jobs.
The store put a sign on door asking people to "please wear a mask" after the Governor spoke about masks, and the employees(they have an Asian girl that works food area and a couple white dudes that work PT and do stocking and odds and ends for what i assume is beer & drug money), along with the owners. The amount of people that didn't, or haven't, wear/wore masks and would b*tch about it inside and outside the store to just anyone. Just be b*tching away at random people, along towards the owners as well.
It's so bizarre how upset people were, AND they still didn't wear the masks. It was just a sign asking to wear one, not one saying if no mask you couldn't enter. I would pull up with no mask, then put one on and go inside and get what I need and then go back to my car and take it off and go about my business. It wasn't that big of a deal. It was their business, their choice.
Ran into an old co-worker as I was leaving one day. He didn't have a mask and was about to enter as I was exiting. He noticed me and chirped "(pfff)You wearin' that bullzhit mask?" I replied "(chuckling)Yeh, I'm not an azzhole.[while pointing at the door] There's a sign asking me, and it's their gas station, so I don't like being a d*ck." He said something like "whatever" and it was still gay or i was gay - I kept it moving. Didn't have time to try and rationalize it to him.

All I've learned over past year and a half is how many people have this "The World Is MINE!" bravado.
