GoFundMe- Wilber Portillo, from Denver, Colorado, died November 19, and days later his COVID-19 test came back positive.
- The 18-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 during the first week of October, but he quarantined for a month then recovered and tested negative, Fox reported.
- He fell ill in November, went to the doctor for a COVID-19 test, and died in his sleep that night, according to his family's GoFundMe.

Andrea Ferrel, Portillo's girlfriend, told Fox Denver 31 he thought he had developed immunity after he recovered, but within the second week of November Portillo fell ill again.
His condition worsened, and Portillo went to the doctor on November 18 where he was diagnosed with a severe respiratory infection and tested for COVID-19.

I could give a $#it if anyone supports getting the vaccine or they are against it. I see valid arguments on both sides. It's a corona virus and there's no reason to belive any antibodies will last more than 6 months to 2 years. SARS, MERS, none of them have a lasting immunity.
This isn't really a surprise Minny, it's a coronavirus, they made a jab but they always knew it would mutate, amd just when they thought they were ahead, Delta got a ahead of them, it was and will always be possible. But it's not a surprise, it's only a suprise in as much as they had an mRNA jab to the virus so fast.

Does the article not specifically cited multiple Counties in CA with above average vaccination rates that also are leading the State in reinfection rate while simultaneously citing several Counties with lower vaccination rates that are well below Statewide infection levels?
Against all common sense and facts presented, why would anyone continue to push for mandated vaccination here when the jabs do not work, the data shows in California, Isreal, UK, India, Germany that the reinfection rate is already over 40%.
It does not work to cure, prevent, stop transmission or kill the virus and even those vaxxed are spreaders. They are being asked to wear masks indoors, at schools, on planes & busses & and at work.
The vaxxed are no different in terms of contageousness than the unvaxxed...yet there is a liberal agenda here to force upon free and healthy individuals, a non FDA approved drug.
The article is clear in the facts. Forget what the talking heads try to spin in the later paragraphs, look at the facts.

There is nothing about re-infection in what you posted. Re-infection isn't mentioned at all. The video/article not about getting covid19 for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time.
This is about the lesser effectiveness of vaccines against the more contagious Delta variant. Essentially if X number of un-vaccinated people are put in a scenario and 100 of them become infected whereas if X number of vaccinated people are put in the same scenario 40 will become infected.
I'd rather be in the group where 40 get sick rather than the group where 100 get sick. Heck, i'd rather be in a group where 90 get sick rather than a group where 100 get sick.
I'd rather get a booster every 6 months than get infected every 6 months. The question is whether the vaccine poses enough danger through other possible effects to outweigh the value of the protection it provides. For most people it should be pretty clear cut. Where it's marginal people it's a difficult choice. Everyone should have the right to NOT get it. However, whilst it might be marginal on an individual personal level it's clearly a benefit for the rest of society if those individuals do get it, so if they don't they should expect to have some unsympathetic restrictions placed upon them.Comment -

If the Dems and the fake news media really cared about the spread of COVID they would shut down the Southern Border with millions of illegals coming in and bused and or flown all over the Country with Covid.
Most don't even get tested and many don't want the vax shot either when first entering the US.

My mother was forced to get her 1st shot last Friday(she is required to be fully vaccinated in order to see a ear specialist in Pittsburgh for a loss of hearing in one of her ears)
She got sick Saturday night and then started running a 103 degree fever yesterday and my dad just took her to the hospital. She already had covid back in November and didn't want to get the vaccine, but had no choice. She is scheduled to get the 2nd shot August 20th.Comment -

I can name probably near 100. I have been to 9 hospitals around the country. Since I travel alot for protests and political debates. I really wanted to talk to them in person since it's obvious the news is biased so only the democrats will believe it since it supports there political party. I admit some of them did not agree but around 80% of them agreed with what I'm saying and believe.Comment -

We have to agree to disagree at this point, I make it a point to speak about COVID to all medical professionals (if I/we get the chance)
I see two specialists, both for sports related injuries suffered in the past, and one regular GP.
All their opinions are the vaccine is 99 percent safe.
I'm not a paid medical professional, I trust the ones I (or my insurance) pays for.
I'm just an IT Geek that knows maybe, just maybe a little more than the common man when it comes to all things medical.

I also spoke to one person that was even making the vaccine that wont get it. He said their are things in that vaccine you don't want in your body. I trust my immune system more but I am healthy with no underlying conditions and had covid already so I have the antibodies. We all will believe what we choose to. In regards to your last sentence.

At this point, I feel (my personal opinion), remember I am a highly opinionated person that does rub some the wrong way, to which it doesn't really bother me, is that the vaccines should not be forced on every person.
I like what the police union is saying, "get vaccinated, but if you don't you will be tested once a week, every week, but your job will not be in jeopardy if you don't get vaccinated. (or something close to that extent)
That's very, very reasonable.

I got the original vaccine this past spring, have yet to get a second.

I saw on the news just last night 30% still weren't vaxxed working in hospitals in America with the polling.
