And as for the pandemic they were trying to understand a virus on the fly. Everything said hey if we lock down we can eliminate this. The problem was many people did leave their house, many people fought tooth and nail about putting a mask on. Fighting for such stupid insignificant things. And now we have a pandemic that will stay with us for at least another year.
Honestly it’s all so silly the things people fight for. You know the part that baffles me? People that are anti vaxxers say that’s it’s their choice but then are in the same group that says woman should not be able to choose abortion.

I already live in the woods. I horse in to use the coffee shops wifi and shower in the sink, make my bets, and go back out there. I'm doing fine. Full-blown prepper. The whole reason you shut down was not so much to save people as limit the spread of COVID. The biggest risk has always been the variants. At some point, you can get a variant that wipes out everybody. It is not very likely but it can happen.

When you let it spread through more people, it creates more variants. The more variants you get, the more it spreads and the less vaccines work.

The risk of using a vaccine that does not kill off the virus is eventually vaccines do not work at all.

Its called security at airports and I'm glad they do that. I left my house everyday of the pandemic. There was no rule against that. If you are so concerned about this control why do you live in the U.S? I heard there is much more freedom in China and Iran. Maybe you would like it there better?

They are called a variant for a reason. It will work OK for some. It will not work at all for others. When a variant is strong enough, you will need an update to the vaccine.
