SBR was one of the few places way out in front of anything and could have capitalized significantly. Spro's generalization about mixed race people is just dumb. But almost anyone of mixed race or with family members of mixed race won't be offended, as they know first hand how he is living in opposite world holding that opinion. But if anyone is offended, they can hit post report and I would guess Spro would be asked privately to tone it down, or the post would be deleted. We do actually act on complaints when its apporpriate.

I don't care what the opinion is of someone who makes a racist post and then publicly says I am not doing my job to control other people doing the same thing in his very next post.

If you really want me to ban someone, guess who goes first in this situation? Get treated how you ask for others to be treated is how I handle complaints like this.


I like racism less than most posters here I think. And try to encourage people to share their views in a way that does not drive others away. But we are not the arbiters of good taste nor do I think SBR wants mods to tell people what they can or cant think. Just don't be violent, threatening or overly obnoxious about it.
