With grade inflation, your effort or lack there of would probably be worth about a 3.0 now.

I meant too late to do anything meaningful with it. I don't think anybody's looking to hire a 45 yr old with a Finance degree with 20+ years of security guard work.

Smart to get out. Brooklyn & most of NY is massively overrated esp what the restrictive gun laws.

Went to SUNY Plattsburgh...upstate NY about 45 minutes away from Canadian border into Montreal.
Technically I was in my 4th year but changed majors 3x. Had minor completed in journalism and all gen ed's done. Was going for a MATH degree and decided to drop out.
I have no records of anything to show grades and shit. I was a solid B+ student.

Same with me Sammy I never held on to my transcript. Just found out recently I could send my school $10 for a copy which is what I did. Feeling ripped off down to $7.. should’ve waited.

When I was there, there was a popular rumor that the last semester is always tuition free which is obviously not true, so once I found that out I was like fukk it.

grade inflation is unbelievable. I recently saw news reports how many students receive an A. I forgot the number/percentage but it was ridiculous. when I attended you needed to bust your ass to earn an A. kids are now earning top honors and know almost nothing. not all, certainly not all American education is still pretty decent. but my god.

Grade point averages at four-year colleges are rising at the rate of 0.1 points per decade and have been doing so for 30 years. A is by far the most common grade on both four-year and two-year college campuses (more than 42 per cent of grades). the most common grade, how about the for unbelievable.

A grades and B grades should be relatively difficult to receive. Especially A grades, the largest amount of grades in any class was always around a C. and rightly so. if you have 30 kids in a class room and 24 are receiving an A something is wrong. the cream of the crop gets the A grades, the next group of kids get B grades. the majority receive a C meaning you were average.
that is the proper way to grade, I used it my entire career.

apparently that’s the way professors and university see it too. I remember in my physics III class after the first 2 or 3 tests basically the entire class of maybe 12-15 students had an A or high B so far, then the next test came and everyone failed it, nothing on the test was anything we had covered, teacher threw a curve ball to bring our grades lower smirk on his face sitting at desk some of us were upset but it didn’t matter far as I know everyone got a good final grade.

My ex gf went to Baruch. She thought she was better than me because of it because I went to suny school. Which is funny is because last I heard she is a secretary and can’t hold a job.

I'm not sure where to even get the transcripts of my degree. Sure I let people know when I went to college and where, but I don't think anyone cares.
As a true story, in my last semester, I purposely tanked a class, a disruptive up and coming technologies class I believe, to get a C. I didn't want to graduate Summa *** Laude, I would rather be the Magna *** Loudest version.
