Additionally, the prison system has become capitalized by outside corporations which fund prisons, but there is still a high cost to tax-payers. Furthermore, there has been an increase in the amount of private prisons that have been created. For-profit prison companies have come under scrutiny because of their lack of satisfactory staff and widespread lobbying. Violent offenses are the most common type of offense among prisoners in the U.S.

Well, Kaepernick didn't start hate against pigs, obviously it stated with the first cop in history anywhere to ever bully someone or abuse their power or brutalize others etc - that would have started the victim or anyone who witnessed it to wonder if police overlords is what we need.

Having a discussion about whether peacekeeping is a better alternative to policing doesn't hurt anyone - nobody likes to be policed, whether getting tickets to mow your lawn or having your children taken by the state etc, but we all want peacekeepers to help keep society peaceful.
If it's too hard for police to stop mistreating us then they should find an easier job like at McDonald's or anywhere else - even one bully being a cop is too much.

Dirty cops were far worse in the 50's and 60's. Today most cops are legit and not racist.. Blacks need to stop committing crimes and murders because there is a stereotype with that. Uh oh kapernick needs attention again. Like most things in this world the answer is probably somewhere in the middle. We do seem to over incarcerate. You can’t really argue those statistics compared to rest of world. We put people away for way too many things that aren’t harming others. . Like drug use/dealing for example. But abolish altogether is he nuts ? violent crime/theft should be punished. Citizens should be able to walk down the street and feel safe and not have their homes/cars robbed. It’s one of the primary purposes the government serves in people lives that actually pay taxes and support the system. . If you’re going to send half of my money to other things I do not benefit from please at least keep me safe and let me keep my possessions that I can afford after supporting others.Comment -
