Copper value rising. Will USA ever reverse boycott on melting pennies?

With all the copper talk could lumber be the next copper and see people stealing lumber or is not worth anything I guess the only people to steal lumber would be other construction companies maybe i answered my own question.

Sure, they'll steal it. I used to hear about a couple going on vacation. They'd come back...and someone un-rooted their trees that held valuable wood, took them away.

Got a Penny roll from the bank. I normally expect to pull about 14% copper coins.

But I NEVER pull a Wheatie. Pulled a Wheatie today. Very surprised, Wheaties are really not in circulation.

Just noticed the Canadian Dollar is only worth 69 cents USA Dollar. Been a long time since it’s been that low. Starting to see a lot of Canadian quarters drifting across the border. Don’t buy any 25 cent rolls looking for silver. That’s a losing proposition!!! Holy sheet!!!!

Hi, Goose. I can't complain. Things are pretty good.

Have heard a few stories about Canada. I think it's a matter of the Canadian dollar eroding even faster than the USDollar. Like you say, used to be close to 1:1 parity.

I do pick up coins when I'm at the bank. You'd be surprised at my success over time:
1) Have had some nice Silver hauls. Sometimes, you strike it rich.
2) I have a healthy penny collection. Admittedly low stakes. But the copper find in Penny rolls is good. Very easy way to turn $1.00 into $1.28 of value. Wheat penny was the first I've seen in a while.
3) Un-rolled a nickel roll. Usually dry. Did find a Buffalo nickel this time, so not bad.
