There were kids lined up every morning in the principal's office to get paddled. Then some cheerleader got paddled(her choice) and cried to her parents, and that was the end of paddling.

I have mixed opinions on this these days

I've never liked how teachers think they can do whatever they want.
I've had my run-ins with a few and not shy in reminding them that they work for us, not vice-versa.

But on the other hand, these brats are out of control these days.

The only solution?

No more public campuses.

All schooling to be done virtually.

Then the bad kids who don't pay attention, disrespect, and fail, will be all on them and their parents.

a lot of teachers have egos. i see it with who my mom works with on her faculty and even in the dating world. whenever i meet a teacher or date a teacher by me they are very superior. even my aunt as a retired teacher still exhibits that and she just taught typing on a typewriter and became obsolete cause she did not like computers at the time.

i am not saying all teachers either. if you are a teacher on this board, i hope you are one of the different ones.
