They tried to tell Chauvin to stop and reposition him, but they were timid about it because he was the veteran cop, and cops don't like to rock the boat with other cops

As far as change from both sides / how to get that progress. We have a lot more technology than we have ever had. (Cup Foods could use a decent cash register with a bill acceptor like Walmart). But, for the policemen as well. Has to be a better way to arrest someone, better in the field technique. Their training does not come any where close to what happens in the field.

One more question (you did well on my last one, lol). Why such a quick 27 million settlement and why so much? No life insurance company would have valued this life at 27 mil. My take was the city knew the department was negligent and wanted a quick settlement for damage control. Without admitting any fault.

Just not hearing anything like we are going to work hard to make sure this stops happening. To get the trust of the people they do need to earn the reputation of being respectful of the people they arrest.

It did take 1 lawyers and millions of $'s to beat him.

I'm not an attorney but they interviewed 3 of the top attorneys in the state that were not involved and said it's a slim to 0 chance...apparently an appeal isn't quite that easy, the judge basically has to make 'horrible' decisions for an appeal to happen and although the lawsuit payoff, no change of venue and jury sequestering could be argued for it's simply not enough for an appeal according to these attorneys they interviewed so I wouldn't bet on it, even one of them said the best he can hope for is to get the 3rd degree charge appealed but that doesn't matter cause all the prison time will come from the 2nd degree charge

Right after Nazi cop got sent up the river. A 15 year old black girl with a knife was shot & killed by a cop. She was protecting herself from an attacker with the the knife & she was the one who called the cops.

Here's one from yesterday. 80 pound 73 year old senile woman arrested & taken to the ground. I think they also dislocated her shoulder.

Sure crime is a problem, but so is the way we police that crime.
