I hear you about wanting to change the channel when Janice came on. I hated her as much as the next guy, but that range and depth of viewer emotions is what made the show so great. I really hated Ralphie the first time I watched the show, but after re-watching I feel like I laughed more at him than I despised him. One of the best scenes was when he left Rose for Janice. First of all, the guys is clearly moving down a league in his woman department, but he's super excited to start this new chapter.
