I'm good, back to 100%. My dad is better, but my mother has pneumonia now. They tested her for covid, but she was negative. My parents were just out in Dearborn last week helping my 94 year old great-uncle(he fell down the stairs in his house and needed 24 hour care) he just died last night in the hospital. He had all kind of problems. He was having trouble breathing and we figured that he had covid, but they said he didn't test positive for it.

Most people started watching the series when it came on Netflix, so their wait hasn't been too long for the new season. I finished season 2 way back in April of 2019 on Youtube. It's been a long wait. Hopefully the new season delivers.

Yep same here. It's been a long wait. It looks like the Asian dude Daniel fought in karate Kid 2 makes an appearance in season 3.

Very sorry to hear about your uncle. Hopefully your parents get healthy soon!

Time to renew my Netflix! Cancelled awhile back mostly on principle since I was getting a bit tired of them jacking up the price consistently while also making the product worse mostly (removing shows I liked) - not a good combination! Not the amount of $ is significant, but again the principle of it irritated me. But Cobra Kai, gotta see that, great show first two seasons so if that's what it takes to watch Season 3, sign me up again!

Thanks. I have to drive my mom up to Dearborn next week and stay there for a few days to get things in order. They have to embalm him and then fly his body from Detroit to Pittsburgh(costs $3,000) and then one of the local funeral homes here is going to drive to Pittsburgh and pick up the body and do a little service back here. His grave is already bought and paid for and he is getting buried next to his sister(my grandmother).

As for Cobra Kai, I wasn't too shocked seeing Yuji Okumoto(Chozen) in this trailer, as a few months ago, a short trailer dropped showing Larusso was fighting someone in Okinawa and you could hear a snippet of Chozen's voice. Nice to see they brought back Tamlyn Tomita who played Kumiko in Karate Kid part 2.

Here is a cool video with both of those actors and a couple dorks re-enacting a scene from KK2.

Season 4 is scheduled for a 4th quarter 2021 release.

Makes sense with season 3's release pushed back almost 6 months off the netflix acquisition.
